Wind heat cold

Wind heat cold is caused by the evil of wind heat invading the surface and the loss of lung qi. The symptoms are severe fever, slight wind, headache, sweating, sore throat, cough, sticky or yellow phlegm, stuffy nose, thirst and drinking, red tip of tongue, thin white and yellowish fur. Wind heat colds are more common in summer and autumn, caused by external wind heat. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that wind heat cold is a superficial syndrome caused by feeling the evil of wind heat.
