Pulmonary histiocytosis, or Langerhans's histiocytosis (PLCH), formerly known as lung eosinophilic granuloma and X, is a disease with low incidence rate. The lung can be affected alone or become a part of multiple organ involvement of the whole body. Most of the patients are adult male smokers.
