Polycystic ovary syndrome

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a syndrome of endocrine disorder characterized by rare ovulation or anovulation, hyperandrogen or insulin resistance and polycystic ovary. Symptoms include sparse menstruation or amenorrhea, chronic anovulation, infertility, hirsutism and acne. Because of continuous anovulation, in severe cases, it will cause endometrial hyperplasia and increase the risk of endometrial cancer.
