Nonspecific interstitial pneumonia

Nonspecific interstitial pneumonia (NSIP) is a type of idiopathic pulmonary interstitial disease (IIP). In the past, in idiopathic pulmonary interstitial fibrosis, because of its clinical, pathological, imaging and pulmonary function changes, especially the treatment response and prognosis of glucocorticoid are significantly different from IPF, it has been separated from IPF as an independent idiopathic pulmonary interstitial disease in recent years. Because of the relative lack of specificity of its clinical symptoms and pathological characteristics, it is often diagnosed as IPF, which is actually two different diseases.
