Non IgA mesangial proliferative nephritis

Non IgA mesangial proliferative nephritis refers to a group of diseases with diffuse mesangial cell proliferation and / or mesangial matrix widening under light microscope. The incidence rate of disease in this group is quite different from that reported in the US. For example, in the United States, the disease accounts for less than 10% of primary nephrotic syndrome, but it is very common in China, accounting for about 30%, such as the number of renal biopsy according to primary glomerular diseases, which can reach 40%. This difference is not only related to geography, species, environment and other factors, but also related to the preparation of samples, the course stage of biopsy and the evaluation criteria.
