Mixed Acid-Base Disturbances

Mixed acid-base balance disorder refers to the simultaneous existence of two or more simple acid-base balance disorders. In mixed acid-base disorder, the original compensatory reaction no longer exists, but the pathophysiological changes are complex and the clinical manifestations are not typical. Therefore, we should make a preliminary diagnosis by asking the medical history and analyzing the results of blood gas analysis.
