Intercostal neuralgia

Intercostal neuralgia is a group of symptoms, which refers to the damage of thoracic nerve root (i.e. intercostal nerve) due to different reasons, such as thoracic degeneration, thoracic tuberculosis, thoracic injury, thoracic dura mater, tumor, ankylosing spondylitis and other diseases, or the compression, stimulation and inflammatory reaction of ribs, mediastinum, pleura and intercostal nerve caused by the above diseases, resulting in the syndrome of chest intercostal or abdominal banded pain
