Graves disease

Toxic diffuse goiter is an autoimmune disease. Its clinical manifestations are not limited to the thyroid, but a multisystem syndrome, including hypermetabolic syndrome, diffuse goiter, eye sign, skin lesions and thyroid acropathy. Because most patients have hypermetabolism and goiter at the same time, it is called toxic diffuse goiter, also known as graves disease. Extrathyroid manifestations are invasive endocrine exophthalmos, which can exist alone without hypermetabolism.
