Giardia lamblia

Malabsorption syndrome mainly caused by diarrhea occurs after Giardia infection. The diarrhea is watery feces with large amount, bad breath and no pus and blood. Children with diarrhea can cause anemia and other malnutrition, leading to growth retardation.
