Colon injury

Injury of colon is a common injury of hollow organs caused by blunt and penetrating abdominal injury. It can also be caused by iatrogenic injury, such as colon perforation caused by barium enema, colonoscopy and cauterization of intestinal polyps. Because there are many bacteria in the colon, peritonitis is serious, and the symptoms of systemic poisoning are serious, which is often life-threatening. Part of the colon lives outside the peritoneum. When it is injured, peritonitis is unknown and easy to miss diagnosis; Abdominal injury is often multi organ and multi segment intestinal injury. Peritonitis is obvious, which is easy to cover up colon injury, resulting in misdiagnosis or missed diagnosis. Attention should be paid.
